Manual Paddle Valve

Introducing our manual pneumatic paddle valve controls, originally designed for big rig seats. These controls have been embraced by the custom air ride vehicle community, decades ago,  for their simple and reliable method of lifting and lowering air ride vehicles. Utilizing a set of paddle valves, this affordable solution offers straightforward management of air springs compared to the complex and costly electronically controlled systems that often include self-leveling computers. With a design that is essentially bulletproof, our paddle valve controls provide the perfect balance of performance and affordability, making them an ideal choice for those seeking dependable air ride functionality without the added complications of more advanced systems. Whether you’re an enthusiast or a professional, these controls ensure effective management of your custom  custom air ride setup with ease.

Please note: that these are quarter-inch barbed paddle valve controls, which are the industry standard. They are known for their extreme reliability and efficiency. While they may not provide the quickest actuation, they work effectively when paired with our larger capacity air tank and a 200 psi compressor. When used in conjunction with a 200 PSI pressure switch, the paddle valves perform admirably. For example, the lift time for an older classic vehicle is approximately 4-5 seconds for the front due to the weight of the motor, while the rear, being lighter, experiences a slightly quicker rise. However, dropping the rear takes a bit longer than the front, as is typical with these types of switches.

We often receive inquiries about upgrading to larger diameter air hoses, such as 3/8 or 1/2 inch. It’s important to note that this will have no effect on performance. Investing in larger fittings or running a garden hose to these paddle valves will not change the operation speed. The actuation speed is ultimately dictated by the quarter-inch barb design of the paddle valve.
