The Classic Plus Kit™ is designed to enhance your C10/Suburban with improved stability, dynamic driving performance, and, of course, a unique stance. It allows for effortless manual suspension adjustments, complemented by our exclusive dual-needle air gauge panel and paddle valve switches for precise air pressure monitoring in the bags. Tailored for DIY enthusiasts, this kit eliminates the need for complicated components, such as self-leveling levelers, sensors, computers, complex wiring, and calibration. We refer to the straightforward control feature as “driver’s seat calibration,” which allows you to adjust your air ride suspension based solely on your visual assessment. With the touch of your finger, you can adjust the pressure using the switches, much like monitoring your speed with a speedometer and controlling it with your gas pedal. The Classic Plus gauge panel operates similarly: simply adjust the paddle switch lever with your finger to modify your vehicle’s height while observing the gauge needles to reach your desired pressure and ride height. Enjoy effortless adjustability with just a touch of your finger.
With our four-corner control air ride gauge panel, you can easily customize the ride height of your truck at the front, rear, and both sides, allowing for adjustments to individual corners. Whether you want to lower your ride to lay it on the lawn at the car show, accommodate added passenger weight, or raise it for a more dynamic cruising experience, this system offers exceptional flexibility. This high level of adjustability sets our air ride suspension apart, providing a ride tailored to your unique preferences and needs.
The Classic Plus Kit™ is a four-corner control system, often referred to as FBSS (front, back, side, side). While it may seem like a flashy addition meant for show, it’s important to understand that this system goes far beyond merely impressing onlookers with stoplight shenanigans, bouncing side to side. It serves a vital practical purpose:
The precise four-corner control enhances stability at each corner of your classic Chevy C10 while minimizing body roll. Whether you’re accelerating up a freeway on-ramp at 60 mph, navigating painful potholes on a country road, or accommodating extra passenger weight. Refined corner control is crucial for achieving optimal performance and combating the dreaded “Chevy Lean.”
The C10 models were primarily intended for use on the farms rather than freeways, and many did not come equipped with front sway bars. Additionally, the drivers side of the vehicle often ended up heavier due to factors such as steering columns/boxes, transfer case output, frame mounted fuel tanks and even weight of driver. This led to the well-known phenomenon known as the “Chevy Lean.”
So, whether you’re accelerating up that freeway on-ramp, swerving to avoid potholes, hauling a Harley, or just adjusting for additional passenger weight, four-corner control is key.
The main difference between our Classic Kits and premium Elite Kits is the air line plumbing configuration. In the Classic Kits, 1/4″ paddle valve switches and air lines are utilized, connecting from the dash-mounted gauge to the airbags. Additionally, two more air lines are routed from the gauge back to the tank to supply the bags. While there is no air sound during the vehicle lift, you will hear the release of air from the paddle valves located where the gauge panel is installed. If you prefer a simpler plumbing setup and do not want to hear the air release from the gauge panel inside your vehicle, we recommend considering our Elite Kit.

The Classic Plus Kit™ features user-friendly paddle switches that control airflow from the tank to the air bags and release air from the bags back through the exhaust port on the paddle switches, allowing for manual adjustments tailored to your specific cruising conditions. While there are numerous fittings to plumb behind the gauge for efficient connections, our Premium Elite Kits elevate convenience by bypassing all the plumbing and fittings at the gauge. With the Elite Kit, you avoid routing the airbag lines to the dash, eliminating the need for multiple connections behind the gauge.
If you’re a proud C10 truck owner considering air ride suspension, our Classic Plus kit is a solid investment you won’t want to overlook. This four-corner control system is designed to improve your truck’s handling and stability, providing a significant improvement to your driving experience. The precise four-corner control minimizes body roll, whether you’re navigating painful potholes, accelerating up freeway on-ramps, or accommodating uneven passenger weight or heavy loads in the bed. And of course, it delivers the perfect stance for laying it out on the lawn at the next car show.
Many C10 models were originally built for farm use and weren’t necessarily designed for freeway driving, which is why many did not come equipped with front sway bars. Additionally, the driver’s side typically carries more weight from components such as the steering column, transfer case outputs, and frame-mounted fuel tanks, along with the driver’s weight. This has led to the well-known “Chevy lean,” which can be even more pronounced with decades-old tired coil springs.
Investing in the Classic Plus kit ensures you have the corner control necessary for both daily driving and heavy hauling, and of course, the stance for showcasing your C10. Experience the difference that a refined air suspension system can make for your truck.

Many early C10 models were originally designed for farm use and were not specifically optimized for freeway driving, particularly in their early 1960s generation. These trucks served as reliable workhorses in agricultural settings, which shaped their design and functionality. Many of these models did not come equipped with factory-installed front sway bars, especially in the base or less-equipped versions. Additionally, the driver’s side typically carries more weight due to components such as the steering column, battery, and other drivetrain-related parts.

WHATS INCLUDED: Introducing our exclusive EZ AIRRIDE™ airbags & brackets, specially designed for all 1963-1972 Chevy C10’s/Suburban’s featuring front & rear coil springs. These bags & brackets also boast compatibility with a wide range of early 60’s and on P30 vans, Chevy G10 vans from the 60’s through the 90’s with front & rear coil spring suspension, and more. Our 2600 series airbags offer more stroke than traditional 2600 series airbags, compressing down to 2.8 inches and extending to 12.5 inches, providing useable stroke of nearly 10 inches. This increased stroke results in lower pressure within the bags, ultimately delivering a more dynamic ride quality. Whether you’re planning an LS swap, have a 454 big block engine, or want to fit 20″ rims on your pickup and tow a yacht with a Harley in the bed, our airbags can handle it all. Each 2600 series airbag has a max load rating of 3,055 lbs @ 100 psi. Whether it be for laying it on the lawn at the show, preventing pipes from scraping along the driveway, header collectors catching speed bumps, to the added passenger weight scrubbing the tires on turns. Experience the difference with EZ AIRRIDE™. More stroke less filling™
Our airbag brackets feature powder-coated finishes to enhance durability and provide added protection. All necessary airbag/bracket hardware, including nuts, bolts, washers and the required 3/8″ all-thread is included.
Ease of installation: Get out your socket set and drill because our C10/Suburban 2600 series bags and brackets are designed for the most straightforward installation of any air ride vehicle. Considering that the C10 is one of the few GM byproducts with both the front & rear shocks mounted outside the coil springs directly from the factory, there is absolutely no need for shock relocation, meaning no welding making the installation process even easier. Should you be utilizing front aftermarket tubular control arms, or considering doing so, rest assured these lower brackets are entirely compatible with most aftermarket tubular control arms.
NO SHOCKS INCLUDED: WHY NOT? 🤷♂️ When seeking to install airbags onto your C10/Suburban, many companies will push you to buy their stylish, brushed aluminum, foxy looking overpriced shocks. All the while emphasizing the necessity of fancy dropped shocks for an air ride system. The reality is that a superior airbag is shouldering 90% of the suspension work. The shock is merely a standby damper for those unexpected encounters with large potholes or when you’re speeding over a set of railroad tracks at 45 mph. That’s the reason we don’t include shocks with our C10/ Suburban air ride kits. We advise you to simply visit your favorite auto parts store and request the most affordable STOCK gas shock suitable for your specific vehicle model. Put the $300.00-$400.00 we saved you back into your wallet.
Keep in mind, that this advice may not hold true for every airbag you come across online, as not all airbags are produced to our exceptional standards. Let’s say you’ve stumbled upon some used bags on Marketplace, or a new set from a different brand on Amazon/eBay that only compresses down to 3 inches and expands to a maximum of 7 to 7.5 inches. In such a case, you’re left with a mere 4 inches of usable stroke. Picture yourself driving your heavy Chevy with an LS swap, equipped with 20″ rims, and your car show travel buddy happens to be a former linebacker. In this situation, a mere 4 inches of stroke would indeed be laughable. You’d have to resort to maximum pressure in the bag just to ensure enough tire/wheel well clearance for cruising. This is precisely why other companies are eager to sell you an expensive, dampening drop shock. Their aim is merely to offset the excessive inflation of a bag that provides very little stroke, resulting in a rigid ride. More stroke less filling™
AIR TANK: Introducing our C10 specific air tank! Because of it’s ideal size this 5-gallon steel tank is tailored for convenient mounting under the bed of your C10 or Suburban. Measuring approximately 30″ in length, 6″ in diameter, and a height of 7.25″ it strikes the ideal balance between ample air storage and a space-saving design. Enjoy optimal performance for your C10/Suburban’s air ride system with our discreet, low-profile air tank.
To achieve the ideal tank placement, the spacious underside of the 63 through 72C 10 models offers several options. Most C10 builders choose to relocate the fuel tank from its original position behind the seat inside the cab to underneath the bed behind the axle, prioritizing safety and efficiency. It is important to acknowledge that this configuration may not allow enough space for an air tank to be placed inside the frame, alongside the fuel tank. As a result, we recommend mounting the tank directly in front of the rear bumper, between the frame rails, where the spare tire would traditionally be stored. This placement ensures optimal functionality and positioning.
In the event that your C10 is equipped with a pro touring 30 gallon fuel tank, which is currently crammed tightly between the axle and rear bumper, leaving no space whatsoever. There is a viable alternative, you can opt to mount this tank along the frame, either under the driver’s or passenger’s door. In order to secure the tank in any of these locations, you will only need to fabricate a couple of L-shaped brackets to keep the tank in position. If none of these options prove successful, another option is to mount the tank in the bed, perhaps within a toolbox, behind the seat, or any other suitable spot. Tanks! 👌
Air Compressor: Introducing Our premium 454ss compressor, Boasting a maximum working pressure of 200psi, and recognized for it’s efficiency in low amperage usage. Crafted for durability and exceptional airflow performance, this work horse is the ideal choice for any onboard air ride system. Every 454ss pump includes a special set of anti-vibration pads to reduce noise and vibrations, ensuring a SUPER SILENT operation every time. Each compressor is accompanied by a sleek anodized black stainless steel braided leader hose featuring a built-in check valve for effortless connection to the air tank.
Our 454ss Compressor is oil-less and equipped with a 12v permanent magnetic motor for efficient and reliable operation. It has a Built-in thermal overload protector incorporated to safeguard the compressor from overheating even in the most challenging operating conditions. With it being oil-less you can mount it in any direction or position. The only position we do not recommend is an upside-down mount, since heat tends to travel upward, and does not dissipate well in the motor housing.
Included with all 454ss compressors: our EZ AIRRIDE™ comprehensive wire care package containing all necessary items for installation of your compressor keeping it happy for years to come. This includes a premium 8g wire roll to conveniently link the compressor in your trunk, or under the bed to the battery way up front, a 40 amp fuse with a protective fuse holder, a 30/40 amp relay with a color-coded plug-in relay harness for simple setup, and a new nickel-plated top post battery terminal that will accept the 8 gauge wire.
